I have tons of scrap ribbon, but when Strano Designs sent me a huge box stuff with new scraps I almost died and went to heaven. I want to share their generosity with you…..

If I had that scrap ribbon, I would make bracelets out of it, alternating ribbon sections with peyote stitch of the same width in a contrasting/complimentary color and pattern. With enough ribbon, an extra duplicate length used for the bracelet would be sewn onto a handbag to customize and coordinate with the bracelet.

There are SO many possibilities!! A few things would include your tutorials, using it in some baby board book scrapbooks, hair accessories, and many other projects!!
First thing that would happen at our house: ribbons would be dumped on the floor. We'd turn on the music and my two girls would grab some ribbon and twirl around & around. Once we've cleaned up, I'm thinking cut ribbon trim along the bottom of twirly skirts or a patchwork tree advent calendar or a plain tree with ribbon ornaments w/buttons to hang on it…hmm, juices are flowing.
I would make hair clippies for my daughter! LOVE THEM!

I would wrap a cheap little dollar store headband in all those ribbons, hot glueing along the way. Then I would glue together a long strip of ribbons and twist it all up and make a ribbon rosette to put on my ribbon covered headband. Easy peasy and cute too boot!

If I had that much ribbon I would make some sweet headbands for sure. I am in college and all the girls just want a way to throw their hair up and have it look good. Well!! I've already made the scrap ribbon belt as a Christmas gift for my little sister. And I made the scrap ribbon camera strap cover as a Christmas gift for my step mom (how cute! they'll be matching!!). I'm thinking of making the wallet for my daughter, and I'm making 2 more belts one for my 4 year old son (cause he just has to have the stuff the girls have) and for my 18 month old cousin for a Christmas gift.

I love your scrap wallets, I also have been wanting to try my hand at making some cute (but simple) hair clips for my daughter. She tends to pull them out and lose them so I don't want to spend a ton of money on supplies, so scrap ribbon would be awesome!

Oh golly…LOVE ribbon. Besides fabric, it is my absolute FAVORITE!
We are living in Korea for 2 years & I had to bring my own stash. Would LOVE to have such creative possibilities. Definitely, I would make hair bows for the girls & I absolutely want to try your camera strap idea. Hmmm…scrapbooking too! I'm sure I can come up with lots of things to use such a delightful load of ribbon for!!!

Ribbon trees: Take a cone-shaped styrofoam piece and pin like-colored ribbon strips around the base. They should be in three inch lengths or so folded in half with the cut end up. Cover that row with another row going all the way up to the top. Top with a bow, flower, medallion or such. So cute! I will show you pictures if I win.

I would start crafting next years Christmas gifts using them to embellish notebooks, t-shirts, jeans, shorts, shoes, wreaths, hair barrettes, necklaces, pillows, bookmarks, photo book and anything else I could think of.

I have been wanting to make pennant garlands for every season . . . ribbons would help with all the embellishing details that would make something commonplace much more creative and unique! i would make another count down to christmas. i used christmas paper to make cute origami envelopes, placed paper cards inside with a verse to read each morning. each of the cards has three or four ribbions tied to the top. SUPER CUTE and the kids can see how close we are getting to christmas.

I love ribbon!!! I could do a million things with these scaps. I would love to make the ribbon wallet and work on some purses with the ribbon.
First, I would make all the tutorials using scrap ribbon on your blog. Then I would make key fobs for all the women in my family, and then since I see all fabric as unpainted canvases so to speak, I would find some clothing to embellish and then make some skirts for my granddaughter to embellish. Whew!
I am addicted to ribbon, so this is perfect (and a bit scary) for me! Ha! I have a great ribbon bookmark idea and would LOVE to use these scraps to make one of those funky, scrappy garlands for my little girl's bedroom. We're learning colors, so what better fun tool to look at and practice!

I woke up thinking about making an alternating red and green ribbon necklace (hard to explain) but if that turned out I'd totally use it for some necklaces.

My daughter and I would go nuts with the ribbon scraps! I bet we'd come up with all kinds of fun crafty ways to use them. Perhaps make a ribbon taggy blankie for my twins! How fun!! *fingers crossed!!*
holy tons of entries, batman! Unsure why I'm even bothering, I'll never win! LOL.
Of course there would be hair accessories made, naturally. I'd probably also try that method where you applique a little person on a shirt with a snap attachment, and the other half goes on a bow and my DD could have matching bows in her hair and on the shirt. <3 I'd probably also try a tiered skirt with scallops and put bows on the um, corners? tops? intersections? of the scallops.
Also, I know that there would be a bunch of ribbon 'stolen' from me by my DD2, who LOVES ribbon, and from my scrapbooking friends. haha.
actually now that I think about it… I would probably also host a hairclip making party. Perhaps even a fundraiser of sorts? Teach everyone how to make them, and then sell them with the profits going to Cornerstone Christian Care, a group that helps arrange care and outings and stuff for special needs kids/adults.
I would use the ribbon to make hair accessories, tag blankets, the ribbon wallet and so much more!
I would make bunches and bunches of taggy blankets for my sweet 5 month old baby, Emmeline. I try and try to get her to be interested in her Baby Einstein toys and all she wants to do is play with and chew on the satin tags.
I would definitely make your scrap ribbon wallet. I want to make it so bad but don't have any scrap ribbon to speak of.

I have lots of projects I want to make for a sweet little girl. Ribbons would be JUST the thing to make them special.
The first one that comes to mind is a dollhouse pillow. And scrap ribbons would be so cute as curtains and bedspreads and table cloths. And even for trim around the outside of the house.

With that much ribbon, you could make a great ribbon frame for all the ribbon clips….or some baby toys with the loops (my favorites are the dinosaurs)…or just let my kids play in it, I spend so much time telling them to rewind my ribbon spools!

I would just love to have all that ribbon. I love to scrapbook and I like to add ribbon to my pages. Having all that ribbon would make my choices seem almost limit-less! Also my tween got a sewing machine for her b-day so I am sure she could come up with alot of uses for the ribbon also!!!!!

Decorate Cookie Mix in a Jar Christmas gifts (ribbon around the lid with recipe card attached)
Make some more baby teething cloths with the ribbon loops around the edges.
Sew them together to make fun placemats.
I would make several things with such a great stash! Clutch Purse, I would sew lots of them together like a string quilt and cut it up to play with the makings of a wall quilt or sashing for another one.

I want to make placemats. I would weave the ribbon, place on some fusible webbing, sewing on a backing and then use some more ribbon or binding for the edges. I'd also like to use the same weaved material for the bib portion of a baby doll dress.

I follow your blog faithfully. Always great ideas. I would love to use the ribbon to make some baby quilt squares with ribbon dangles. Your wallet tutorial would be another one I would try. I also have a large collection of mason jars..I'd love to come up with a decorative use for the combo. The list really could go on and on. Thanks for the inspirations!

Well, I'd start with making lots of fun ribbons for my daughter's hair. She is not recognized unless she has a bow on
Then I'd move on to a ribbon skirt (i saw a fab tutorial on One Pretty Thing that I'm dying to try) and, after that, I'd make some tag lovey blankets…and then keep going with the ideas I guess…maybe i should peruse the prior comments to get some ideas!

I would use it in many different ways. Some craft projects, on cards and some gift wrapping. If it would work I would make some nice burp rags as well.

Ribbon is like my go to craft product. I couldn't possibly tell you ONE thing I would do with it because it would be so well spread out! Hair bows, scrapbooking, card making, head bands, bracelets, bibs, ect, ect. My imagination runs wild when I get a new stash of ribbon!

I've been mulling around the idea of sewing a bunch together into one BIG LONG RIBBON and then knitting it into a scarf or hat. Maybe a newsboy style hat?
Weave it into small quilt blocks, use adhesive spray and back it with a neutral material to intersperse into a quilt.
Trim homemade thank you cards.
Wrap a gift in brown butcher paper and top with a huge fancy bow made from the ribbon.
