Photo of the Day: Holding Pattern

I love that Boo is always making quirky things.  Here’s one of my favorites to date: an airport holding pattern….complete with a hanger in the middle for the flying planes to park when they are finished with a long trip.  It reminds me of when I was little…..and I used to make little cities and neighborhoods out of tiny pieces of paper.

Boo……she likes to make stuff too.

I love children’s works, and this is a very artistic one.
While I visit this site almost every day to see how you do, I never leave a comment as I do not know what to say, but I am amazed how you deal with everything. Of course you haven’t got much choice, and you did not choose cancer, it’s difficult for me to write this word, and then again I think you have to face it, name it, so you know your enemy (a bit like Harry Potter). Wish you really all the best, may you keep your courage, and your faith and find back your health.
(As you probably notices english is not my language, so it makes it still more difficult to express what I want to say)

I have a six year old who builds elaborate villages and scenes so this made me smile. Your recent video journey of shaving your head is so beautiful and inspiring. It brought me to tears that you were able to go through this process with your family with such grace and that they were such a big part of this. Truly inspiring, god bless you!

Shave Cream, Razor, Deodorant, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Floss, Vitamins, Magnesium (Eliminates leg cramps), and Zyrtec. Remove the aforementioned once per week. Wipe off shelf, wipe each item as it is put back in place…

Under the sink is the shaver (used each Saturday to keep hair and mustache at 1/8 inch), extras of the daily use items and TP.

Praying for you Ashley. May the LORD give you His strength and continued joy through this trial. I Peter 5:10 “And the GOD of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory in CHRIST, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.” Love and blessings.

Boo, great job on your landing strip. I see a budding artist, architect, designer and crafter in the making. Can’t wait to see what your profession will be. I knew early on what my boys were going to do by what they loved growing up. My son was always re-designing his room and as a junior in highschool, he had his own business out of his bedroom (Clixsounds). He is now a builder and designer. (jeffclickhomes.com) He has combined his love for technology and incorporated it into every home he builds. Our youngest was a “little Rambo.” Always my protector. He is now a CSI dectective here locally. (I feel much better- the crime has already happened, so he is not exposed so much as he was working on the streets.) Please tell Boo I am really impressed by her project. Hugs and prayers,Cindy

Oh I wish we could get our girls together! Izzy is a maser taper. She took a crayon the other day and basically made a paper bail from it and hung it from a ball chain as a necklace. Then she drew all day with around her neck. Funny the things that they come up with. We go through about a roll of tape a week now. I should buy some stock in 3M.

So good to see kids using their imagination instead of the toy/TV/iphone doing all the thinking for them. Is Boo left handed? Seems to me I’ve noticed that. My little granddaughter is left handed. We’ve been told that lefty’s have a very creative mind! :)
