Photo of the Day: Parfait

Well I didn’t make it out of bed much today…..but I’m feeling much better this evening. Our friends the Millers dropped off some lemon parfaits…..aren’t they pretty? Made from the lemons picked in their backyard. I love all the fresh citrus we have here in the desert.

Lisa took Boo to a birthday party today at a friends house. Mr. LBB grilled some chicken for a big salad. It’s turned into a great night. Happy Saturday! Hope you all got to do something fun today!

Were you the same girl I used to talk with on ICQ nearly 16 years ago? You had the name Millertime and worked down in Louisiana? I was a young guy from Chicago and always talked about meeting one day.

I had a dream the other night and I was reliving my past and I could see myself typing to you on ICQ ………………I’m sorry if it all sounds strange but my brain works in odd ways…………if it isn’t you, I apologize.

We celebrated my little girl’s 4th birthday complete with a #4 Birthday Dress from the Sienna pattern (which I posted on the pattern page).

We had a blast pigging out and play with new toys.

Hi! Our weekend so far was a burlesque show and a renaissance faire. and i wanted to say I was buying mead from a wench, and she saw my Choose Joy necklace and asked about it, and turns out she’s also a huge follower of yours. I got to take my last niece that turned 21 today to the Casino. She is handicapped and we thought she would enjoy lunch and some penny slots.. I am jelly of the people that have Goodwill by the pound, however I think I could do Goodwill by the pound here at my house.. Guess it is all good. The parfaits are lovely and us Kansans are jelly of the citrus.. Never even seen an orange on a tree. Just apples and peaches
