Well I didn’t make it out of bed much today…..but I’m feeling much better this evening. Our friends the Millers dropped off some lemon parfaits…..aren’t they pretty? Made from the lemons picked in their backyard. I love all the fresh citrus we have here in the desert.
Lisa took Boo to a birthday party today at a friends house. Mr. LBB grilled some chicken for a big salad. It’s turned into a great night. Happy Saturday! Hope you all got to do something fun today!

I made it to the thrift store…Goodwill by the POUND! An entire shopping cart filled over the top for only $35 bucks!!! You would have been in upcycling heaven!!!! I know I am! Can’t wait to get started on cutting it all up!
We set a leprechaun trap, had a tea party, and Lilly Kate lost her first tooth tonight
…. so glad you are feeling better this evening.
Great Saturday all around.
Sending thoughts of strength, happiness, and healing your way.
We celebrated my little girl’s 4th birthday complete with a #4 Birthday Dress from the Sienna pattern (which I posted on the pattern page).
We had a blast pigging out and play with new toys.
I hope you start feeling better soon!
Love the lemon parfaits, they are so adorable and I’m sure delicious. Glad you are feeling better today. Praying for you daily!
Love ya,
Beth
Just want you to know I am thinking of you. I am glad to hear you are feeling a little better, and I am so glad you have so many people around you who love you and are supporting you through this. Hang tough.
I got to sew today, which was very fun. I was also able to share your inspiring story and two Choose Joy bracelets with two close friends today. Hope your feeling better soon. ((hugs))
Hi! Our weekend so far was a burlesque show and a renaissance faire. and i wanted to say I was buying mead from a wench, and she saw my Choose Joy necklace and asked about it, and turns out she’s also a huge follower of yours. Who knew? Even the wenches love you. Hope your energy rebounds soon.

It was a glorious day here in OC, saw little bits of spring blooming on my morning run. Such a great time of the year for renewing and rejoicing ! God is good and loves you Ashley..you take Gods gifts and make things happen!
I got to take my last niece that turned 21 today to the Casino. She is handicapped and we thought she would enjoy lunch and some penny slots.. I am jelly of the people that have Goodwill by the pound, however I think I could do Goodwill by the pound here at my house.. Guess it is all good. The parfaits are lovely and us Kansans are jelly of the citrus.. Never even seen an orange on a tree. Just apples and peaches
mmm, one of my favorite treats:) lucky to be able to have so much fresh fruit. can wait for the snow to melt here and for gardening season to start again.
I started reading your blog about a week or so ago. Little did I know it would turn out to be my favorite. I look forward to it everyday. I am 62 and retired and spend lots of time on the computer.
I think you are brave and a beautiful person with a beautiful family. Thank you very much for this wonderful blog.
