I was sooooo glad to see this on lil blue boo’s website today. I placed a bid on an auction item, but ended up not winning it — which is actually a good thing, because the item raised more money! So to be able to order this and have it help with the medical bills…. is very, very cool. I came across “lil blue boo” on a blog meandering day and I was immediately drawn in — by everything, your sense of humor, the content of your posts, the talent, your current battle, but mostly by your amazing attitude. I don’t even know you, but you have already touched my life. You’ve been added to my prayer list. I posted your beautiful video “A Rite of Passage” on my FB page and have asked others to pray for you, too. I want you to know what a privilege I count it to be “included” in your daily life, even if it is just from the other side of the computer screen on the other side of the USA. LOL – I’ve been so looking forward to getting my necklace that I’ve kept a browser window open and “refreshed” several times a day to see if the pre-sale was open again! I was very happy to find the sale open again yesterday and quickly bought two! YAYYYYY!!
I have also been truly touched by you, Ashley. Your strength and amazing attitude have been a true lesson for so many of us who may not always hold to the same inner strength. I tell you, I have an interview on Tuesday, and I continue to think of you while doing my own positive thinking. I’ve done more positive self-talk in the past 24 hours, and will continue until (and after!) I AM offered this job…

So glad these are available for pre order again! I have been waiting and was happy to read this post today and go order my necklace. I have just done this journey with my husband, so your story is close to home for me. He got the news Monday that he is done treatment and now moves on to the observation stage, we are so thrilled to make it to this point. I keep you in my prayers and trust that in God’s time you will reach the observation stage too! It is so much nicer to visit the nurses for a check up than a round of chemo. Thank you for telling the story of your Dad too, I lost my Dad 4 years ago next month and it makes me smile and think of him. Now when I think of my Dad, I think of you and your Dad and remember to choose joy….. even when it is really hard. Take good care.

After telling my 17 yr old daughter your story and that I bought a necklace, of course, she wanted one for herself, too. So sad (glad?) to see they sold out already. We’ll be watching for the next go-around.
