Photo of the Day: A Unicorn

I’m sure Boo is off at school today telling everyone “we hunted down a unicorn and hung it’s head on our wall.” How morbid. Yesterday I asked Lisa what she thought I should make….and she dared me to make a unicorn trophy head. It doesn’t take much to make me get completely off track… I made some paper mache and worked on this head. It’s coming together.  We’ll hang it on the wall in Boo’s playroom. I’ll have photos of the entire process once I’m done.

Disclaimer: no unicorns were harmed in this project.

You seriously rock! That is incredible. I simply must have one for myself. I had the hugest collection of unicorns when I was a child and regret growing out of them, because I am now re-growing into them:)

Sooo cool!!!! I’m sure it will add a hip and whimsical feel to the room how neat! My daughter and I are ordering silk ribbons to dye them using your tutorial to hang around her loft bed desk and give her a little privacy..maybe this idea will start a new project for her room too. As always thanks for the inspiration!

    That is great!
And I wouldn’t sweat what Boo was telling at school. At least it may be ONE day she’s not talking about how her Mommy is obsessed with Poo and takes baths in mustard! :)
