Everyone has their quirks…..one of mine is not being able to just walk across a queue line. Even if there’s no one in it….I feel like I have to walk all the way through the maze….and I’ll try to direct everyone else through it correctly too.
What’s your pet peeve? besides being made to walk all the way through an empty queue……

OMG I can totally see you walking this!! Too funny
Parking straight! I can NOT get out of my car and walk away if it is not centered in the parking spot. lol
Pet peeve? Top on my list is how the “straws” in the spray bottles are NEVER long enough to get everything out of the bottle. (Cleaning supplies, hair products, and etc) There is always a decent amount that just sits in the bottom of the bottle. This drives me wild… LOL I think I might try cutting a straw and using duct tape to tape it on and see if this solves the problem.
r u at Coscto?
Mine is similar to yours!
I hate it when the drive thru line wraps through a parking lot and people get sloppy and disorderly and start cutting into parking spots and all crooked. I always try to correct it with my one car and check my rearview to see if the peeps behind me are obeying. Nuts.
Must be Costco. lol
The only thing I can think of to say, after reading this post, was, it must be so funny, all the looks you get taking photos of ‘weird’ things! hahaha!!! xoxo…love it! I broke myself of a lot of OCD habits by forcing myself to walk across the lines, and step on the cracks..my mom still hasn’t broke her back! Ha!
Oh my goodness, I can’t help but comment!
I have a similar pet peeve, something to do with queues. It annoys the crap out of me when there is a queue, and everyone is waiting patiently – and in line. Then in that straight line, someone is stepping on the side, and not within the line. It bugs the hell outta me!!! Worse if the person keeps fidgeting and moves from side to side. I want a straight line!
Customer Service Voice! Oh, I cannot stand it when the cashier/waitress voice gets all high pitched when they talk to you. OH……sorry I mentioned this. Now you will notice it all the time
Anyone who is impatient with their child for just being a child and chews them out in front of everyone at the grocery store. You can see their little spirits get crushed and wonder if this parent is this impatient in public how are they treating this child when they are in their home alone with them.
#1 pet peeve is people coughing or sneezing with out covering their nose of mouth. Want to see me come unglued? Try doing it in a car with me with the doors closed!!
I AGREE WITH YOU Hillary!!!!
I hate the drive ups at the bank, and how when I try to hang back and do that method where you take the next available lane (which to me seems most fair) someone else will just zoom up and get in line at one of the lanes, which makes me feel like a dork and then it pressures me to angrily just pick a lane, too….and messes up my system for creating a perfect world, LOL.
I really hate cupboard doors being left open. Thankfully my daughters’ are good at shutting them. After an earthquake here a few years ago, one cupboard now doesn’t shut properly… It really irks me!
I’m a door closer too – cupboard and rooms. I sometimes forget to be grateful to my husband for emptying the dishwasher because he has left the cupboard doors ajar. And don’t get me started on the toilet door!
Mine is people crowding me in line. Had to go get new DL yesterday {and because I was bad and didn’t keep up when we moved had to take a 2nd driving test at 41} and was one of only 3 people. Yet the person behind me had to stand right on top of me – it was uncomfortable. I also can’t stand if my stuff is still on the counter to be scanned and I haven’t finished paying, the person behind me should be with their stuff, not beside me! Okay, I vented
Hehe, I do that too. I feel silly! I have a lot of pet peeves, but I guess the one that gets me most irritable is ppl who don’t say thank you when I hold the door for them at daycare. I know you got kids + stuff, but come on, I’d say TY to you!
Anything pointy aimed at my face, even if it is not super close. People sitting across a table drive me nuts if they point utensils my way or if their straws are pointed at me. My straws have to be pointed away from my face. I semi spaz when people hold up scissors or a knife pointed toward me. When I sew, the needle has to be pointed away from my face at all times. That is my 1 and only weird pet peeve. Aside from people that do not say please, thanks, you are welcome and hold doors.
I don’t like a wasp in the car with me, this freaks me out.
OH! Finally, a place to complain!!! Call me old, but when I was growing up my mama taught me to say “Excuse me” when going between someone in a store and what they are looking at. HELLLLOOOOO, RUDE PERSON! SAY EXCUSE ME!… ok feels better, but, I will still want to trip the next ADULT that doesn’t say it!
People who cut me off only to pull in to the Tim Hortons drive-thru. Like they couldn’t have waited that extra 15 seconds…grrrrr
