The Girl With Nada Tattoos

At church today Mr. LBB turned to me and asked:

How long are you going to grow your mohawk?

My reply:

Until the people behind me have trouble seeing the pulpit……

I may keep it forever.

It feels like me.

Lookout Lisbeth.

P.S. I just realized it’s been almost 12 months of the Cancer Chronicles. I put this photo montage together for my Babble.com blog:  A Year of My Life Chronicled By Hair

Hi! You wrote in your “year chronicled by hair” that cancer can be awesome. As crazy as that sounds I totally understand where you are coming from. Even though I wouldn’t wish this on anyone….I’ve learned so much in the last year and I can relate to everything you talk about….you truly are an inspiration!!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!!

Loved that overview you made to chronicle the last year! My friend just dyed her hair blond – she says as long as she can’t make any experiments with the cut yet, she has to go for color. For her, it’s been a year, too. Maybe a mohawk is next for her, too? xo Anja

I love the Faux Hawk, and miss my own! I’ve got stubble now that it’s been over two weeks since my last chemo. Can’t wait to rock a Pixie cut and then add some color. I went pink last time, maybe red or blue this time.

I think it’s badass! (Follow it up with a neck tat.) Maybe a nice little intricate photo that would distract the folks behind you (who can no longer see the pulpit).

Wow, I remember that 5 minute hair post…can’t believe it was a year ago. (I still can’t do the 5 minutes curls very well). SO glad you’re still around to make us laugh, craft and choose joy! Thanks for letting us all see you through. And short hair DOES look amazing on you! I’ve often thought about shaving my head just so I could try every hair style ;)

I love it! you look great, it’s a good look on you, although I’m not really a long hair kind of gal, obviously! I’ve had my faux hawk for 2 1/2 years now and LOVE it, I go from long to short to long to short… (well long fr a faux hawk…) you look AMAZING! I wish we’d crossed paths more often at SNAP!
