Advent Calendar and a Silhouette Portrait Giveaway

I just finished this year’s advent calendar! (it was a lot quicker  than last years!) Now just a little over a week until Boo can start turning them over.  I used the new Silhouette frame and clip system, but mixed it up with…..

….Pen and Paint’s Printable Christmas Countdown Calendar.  Each day it gives us a family activity…..I think my favorite one is leaving a gift for the postman……it reminds me of when my mom used to do that for the trash collectors and mail carriers when I was little:

  82. Ota says

I want to win because life is too boring for a professional minefield footballer like myself. Should my limbs remain in place during the entire season, I promise to make my life less boring by…

─ creating funky rice paper and seaweed designs for the coolest-looking sushi in the world (pics will be provided)
─ taking an ordinary paper and spiral cut it until it’s 145 feet long (youtube, here I come!)
─ sending a very unusual Thank You note to Ashley, a note that will be so “creative” she will actually keep it (even though it’ll be rather weird)
─ brushing my teeth with my dog’s hairbrush while contemplating my next movie “To cut or not to cut … my cat” (youtube, here I … er … I’m lying)
─ never using the nail clippers again … c’mon, what’s my new silhouette portrait cutter for? (Lying again, I can only hurt myself in the minefield … it’s my insurance company’s condition)
─ actually cutting a portrait with the darn thing … of a very ugly chameleon
─ and creating near-believable statements in most suitable fonts and sticking them over rich lawyers’ diplomas when they leave their offices to answer embarrassing phone calls (coincidentally from my accomplice)

You can ask me to get another free consultation from each of the tricked lawyers a few months later, at which stage I’ll baldly ask them who discovered the sticker and when. However, you shouldn’t really insist on the hairbrush/cut/nail clipper things. Anything to win, I know, but I won’t do that!

Silly enough? I know, I read Kafka. He would probably said: Wait, a 3D printer can do a much better job. Can I get that one instead?

Luckily … I’m humble. The most humble commenter here, to be exact. I’ll take the cutter. I really am very modest. The best thing about me is my humility.

Will you ship it to Europe or do I have to pick it up next time I cross the little pond?
