The Li’l Journal Project

I’m so excited that this is FINALLY getting underway. I felt well enough today to finish up all the journals so my Li’l Journal Project starts this week! I’ll be mailing 10 little journals to start all around the world.  And we’ll see where they go from there! I have a journal page set up (not public yet) where I envision maps to track the journey of each journal and some photos as we go along.  Once these get going we’ll send out some more!

The journals say inside:

What an amazing idea. I love it when someone comes up with something that’s so creative. It’s relieving to know there are still things out there for one to come up with! I would love to be a part of this project. My journey is a CRAZY one.

My family is currently in Pretoria, South Africa working at the US Embassy. We’ve lived here nearly 2 years and are trying desperately to make it permanent. We feel a calling to help in the anti-poaching / reserve protection movement desperately needed here. Making the jump from military life to civilian life will be difficult after my husband’s been in for 17 years. Some would think we’re crazy for giving up a retirement like that. But things happen for a reason; we are here NOW, and we must live in the moment when we’re given opportunities like this.

I’d love to share my journey …

I would LOVE to be involved in this! But, even if I cannot touch one of the journals and add a page, I’d love to know how the project is going. Do you have any updates as to where the journals are? Do you have any pictures of any of the pages people have done? PLEASE TELL US MORE!

I’m so sorry that your jounals have stopped. I would have loved to be a part of this. I do a lot of journal swapping, and occasionally I don’t receive one in return. I do not understand people who want something for nothing. I see that as stealing.
