20+ Health Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar

A while ago I shared a few things from my daily regimen that helped me while I was going through chemotherapy. You can find my whole list here. One of those items was Apple Cider Vinegar because it helps remove toxins and supports a healthy immune system, rich in enzymes and potassium.

Apple cider vinegar has so many uses, from cleaning to cooking to health. You can treat and relieve so many things with Apple Cider Vinegar. Here are just some of the uses…

I use Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar.  I take it straight from a spoon, but you can also dilute it in water if you need to. I was getting a sore throat recently and I took a spoonful of vinegar every few hours and it disappeared quickly.  You can read their book Apple Cider Vinegar: Miracle Health System to learn more about the health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar and how to use it.

I love ACV! I put it in my bath, too. It totally helps with my hot flashes.

I can TOTALLY attest to the heartburn treatment. Who’d have thunk! Love ACV, too. And it has to be Braggs. :)

Thank you for posting this, I love ACV!

I think it is worth it to mention that it has to be “real” apple cider vinegar that includes the “mother” (little bits floating around). You won’t get the same benefits from the cheap stuff. Go with the Bragg’s!

I love braggs! Ive been taking one tblspoon in eight oz of warm water every day since nov. I think my aches and pains are better and havent been sick all winter!

SO WORTH TAKING! Cured my cold in 4 days. I like to put it in juice because the taste is hard for me not to gag on. ACV also cures warts!

Ashley, thank you for this reminder today. I’ve had a creepy, annoying sore throat for a week. It comes and goes and drives me nuts. I know, first world problem. Anyway, I just took a swig of this vinegar and will continue to do so.
Heading to Asheville for a women’s retreat and they are going to have to deal with my vinegar breath!

I’ve been giving this to my 9 year old for his psoriasis. After dealing with prescription creams that don’t work well, the organic ACV has been great. He prefers when I mix it with apple cider.

    Ash,
I have ‘stalked’ you forever… I think you are fantastic!!! I am adopting your mantra!!! Thanks!!!

    Yes, Bragg’s for acid reflux!
(mustard works well, too – the packet given with a fast food burger is just enough and can be carried easily in a purse)

Ashley, This post is so timely. I was just wondering the other day which parts of your chemo regime you were keeping up. Do you still do all the other stuff too (i.e. wheat grass, cell food drops)? It’d be interesting to see which of the changes you made because of the cancer have remained. Love your blog.

It also cured my toenail fungus. I soaked my little toe in a shot glass of ACV for 10 minutes a few times a day. It was completely gone within a couple weeks with no toxic side effects.

I am buying some Braggs tomorrow! You are a great blessing! We love you, mom

ACV rocks! I’ve had great success with it helping heartburn. Just be sure to rinse well after taking it because it will damage the enamel of your teeth real fast!

I love your blog! I finished chemotherapy for colon cancer 11/2013. I am really interested in getting healthy. I love reading about all the thing you are doing for your health. I’d like to know if you take a multivitamin and if there is a certain brand you use?
