Movies I Watched in 2012 (but not necessarily from 2012)

Because I love lists…..here are all ninety-three movies I watched in 2012 (that I can remember)…..even though they all weren’t released in 2012. Most are on Netflix. Keep in mind I spent a lot of time in chemo.

Hornet’s Nest Council Troop 4 c. 1985

Boo is finally old enough to be a Daisy and I’m so excited I can’t stand it. I dug up this old photo the other day for Boo to see and pulled out my old Brownie outfit (yes, I keep everything…..)

I have so many great memories of Troop 4 in River Hills, SC. Our leader was Helen Price (far right).  My mom (far left) and Mrs. Erwin (middle) helped out. I super love their green and white printed Girl Scout shirts. I think the best thing about Facebook is that it’s helped me reconnect with so many of these girls:

I spent 5 hours in Girl Scout Leadership Training last night. A lot has changed but so much of what I remember is still there.  As a volunteer I’m expected to:

….be excited about everything….

Well…..that won’t be hard.

 

And then I relearned the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout Law…….which can all be summed up in 3 words, like I tell Boo every morning:

make good choices


I’d love to know if there is still a Troop 4 in the Hornet’s Nest Council….anyone?
